From BalletMet: Soar on Saturdays
Thanks Ms. Whittaker! The Education Department at BalletMet is excited to once again offer Soar on Saturday, a dance access program specifically for children ages 8-12 not already enrolled at BalletMet. Soar on Saturday gives young students the opportunity to explore movement over the course of a free six-week dance class. All classes take place once a week on Saturdays from 2:30pm – 3:30pm at the BalletMet Dance Centre.

Five different six-week sessions will be offered throughout the 2017-2018 academic year, each featuring a unique style of dance. At the end of each six-week session, students are given the opportunity to share what they have learned with parents, friends, and family at an in-studio demonstration.

Class size is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested students should complete the attached Registration Form and return to BalletMet via mail at 322 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215, email at education@balletmet.org, or fax at 614-224-3697. No registrations will be taken over the phone.

For more detailed information about the program, please take a moment to review the attached FAQ sheet. It is important to note that the first session begins on September 9, 2017 and registration is currently open for all sessions. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact education@balletmet.org. BalletMet is committed to providing the community with meaningful and accessible arts programs, quality curriculum, and healthy dance instruction for all students. We look forward to sharing this program with your students.
