Middle School Athletics
Current 7th and 8th grade students in good academic stading (earned a 2.0 GPA in their last grading period) and who have a current OHSAA physical are eligible and encouraged to participate in athletics. Participation in athletics encourages self-discipline, collaboration, team work and grit. Dominion offers co-ed soccer and volleyball in the fall, girls and boys basketball in the winter and co-ed track, baseball and softball in the spring.

Following is information on conditioning and try-outs for soccer and volleyball:

Students will not be permitted to participate in conditioning without evidence of an OHSAA physical. During the school year, students may ride the Activity Bus home at 4:45 PM. The Activity Bus drops students at the nearest elementary school to their home. From there, students may walk home or parents can pick up.

At the middle school level, we encourage our students to communicate with their coaches and work to earn a position on their team. Additionally, we expect our students to be models of the core values embodied by Dominion Middle School.
